Land Acknowledgement
I respectfully acknowledge that the lands on which I live and work are part of the traditional unceded lands of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk) peoples. As an immigrant to these lands, I understand the immense privilege afforded to me by working and living here. I am engaged in the process of decolonization in myself and in the communities I am a part of, and I am committed to continually learning and listening to the people who have been here since time immemorial.
WHOLE HOUSE MANIFESTO
WHOLE HOUSE seeks to be a safe haven and an inclusive, sacred space for spiritually inclined women and femme creatives to explore embodied healing and craft on the lifelong path of coming home to themselves, HEALING THEIR HEARTS, and living AND CREATING on purpose as the complex AND BRILLIANT mind-body-soul system that they are.
Through our work together, we nourish, hold, heal, and uplift—ourselves, each other, and our communities. We hold the vision for a future in which all beings’ right to health, safety, dignity, and the pursuit of happiness is inalienable.
We pursue the deep, personal work of self-healing as the bridge to identifying and undertaking our sacred work in the world: we liberate ourselves not as the ultimate outcome, but as the necessary first step to seeding liberation in the world beyond us.
We honour that embodying our authentic and aligned self is healing for others to behold. Beyond this, when seeking to seed sovereignty in the world outside our personal sphere, we seek to do so through mutuality and collaboration, and not by perpetuating the Hero–Victim–Villain paradigm of Empire.
We welcome your support in upholding these values within our work, our coaching spaces, and our community.
Through this work…
Our lives, our communities, and our collective heal.
Our creations take form and create positive change.
Our peaceful (r)evolution unfolds.
Together we will…
Journey through the dark, as well as the light.
Create where there has been destruction, and serve with love and compassion.
Choose to thrive rather than survive.
My Coaching Commitments
I am committed to honouring the profound work and responsibility that takes place at the intersections of coaching, healing work, education, spirituality, and social justice.
I am committed to upholding an anti-racist, decolonial, anti-oppressive practice that’s rooted in open communication, curiosity over defensiveness, embodied personal integrity, and community care, and I welcome mutually respectful feedback regarding how I might do this better.
I work with the commitment to continue to divest myself from the ways that structural power and privilege, including white supremacy, operate in relation to my identity, my lived experience, and my practice, knowing that our bodies, histories, and identities shape and define our experiences of and access to physical, psychological, and spiritual safety, care, and sustenance within our social and cultural environments.
I commit to lifelong learning informed by the work of Indigenous, Black, queer, and disabled folks.
I am committed to working and walking alongside you as an equal, to support you in your unique and entirely personal process. You know your body — and your embodied boundaries — better than anyone; you are the sole expert in regards to your healing and your process. In our work together, choosing is more important than doing: any request or suggestion I make is yours to accept or decline. Your mind and body’s cues lead the work and establish the pace, according to your capacity.
I am committed to finding ways to support you in health beyond patriarchal/colonial myths of purity and cure. As a neurodivergent person who has experienced acute and chronic mental health challenges including depression, repetitive cycles of burnout, suicidal ideation, and brief episodes of psychosis, I work to unpack the ways that forms of judgement and oppression (including misogyny, ableism, fatphobia, transphobia, racism, and white supremacy) show up in medical and wellness paradigms, and in my own practice.
I am committed to being open to receiving respectful feedback regarding how I can be a better ally, coach, activist, and healer.
our values
Consciousness
WHOLE HOUSE seeks to embody the 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership as a business, service provider, and community. For WHOLE HOUSE as a brand as well as the people within it, consciousness is a lifelong pursuit of self-awareness, consideration, and self-integration.
Justice + Reclamation
The path of embodiment is the path home to the Soul—of the self, and by inextricable extension, of the World and the Universe. To be a Medial Woman, connected to and in communication with the Divine, is to know that All Beings are inherently worthy and deserving of safety, health, respect, love, and dignity. WHOLE HOUSE seeks to honour the ways in which colonialism and its many accompanying oppressive systems have caused severe power imbalances and immeasurable harms that perpetuate suffering on our planet. We are committed to being open to receiving respectful feedback regarding how WHOLE HOUSE can improve in these respects.
Courage
Nothing worthwhile was ever obtained without courage. As heart-centred coaches, creators, and changemakers serving the same, we vow to embody courage by taking the next soul-led step, even when it scares us: to seek always to be the HOLLOW BONE, offering respectful compassion to our fearful parts without being governed by them.
RADICAL HONESTY
A key aspect of courage is honesty. A critical element of embodiment is consent. In order to honour ourselves, our boundaries, our stories, our truths, and each other, we commit to courageous levels honesty: to radical honesty. In a world in which so many are silenced by overt and covert violence and systemic oppression, we understand that silence becomes violence, and so we commit to using our voices to speak truth to ourselves, each other, and to power.
HEART-LED LEADERSHIP
We commit to leading with love. We commit to communicating with compassion. We commit to seeking the win-for-all outcomes. We commit to the We over the Me.
Softness
We truly believe that success doesn’t have to be hard won. That we do not need to apply push, force, and punishment to accomplish our goals and desires. We are committed to interrogating the assumptions and stories that deny softness a place at the table—whether at work, at home, in government halls, or civic buildings.
REGENERATIVITY
Planet Earth and its beings need more from humans than “sustainability” now (an upholding of the status quo); we need regenerativity: the design and creation of systems that are built to be abundant and self-supportive in and of themselves; and to be resilient enough to regrow or be renewed or restored, even after being damaged or harmed. Nature is regenerative. WHOLE HOUSE commits to using Nature as the primary template for healthy, regenerative lifecycles and systems, and to being and continually becoming a regenerative business.
CLIENT POLICIES
My COACHING Is For . . .
Creative, spiritual, or spiritually curious mothers, women, and femmes who are ready and willing to do the hard and sacred work of healing from their pasts in order to show up happier, healthier, and wiser in their own and other’s lives.
My COACHING Is Not For . . .
Anyone who is presently in crisis, has complex mental health diagnoses unsupported by a mental health professional, or is seeking coaching in place of psychiatric support.
Those seeking a quick fix to lifelong patterns and problems, or who are unable or unwilling to take accountability for their role in their present experience.
It is not for anyone who is unable to reasonably regulate their emotions — that is, any person prone to explosions of anger, aggression, violence, or unkind behaviour. And it will not serve anyone whose primary focus, goal, or priority in life is based in acquiring material wealth and/or possessions at the expense of all else. Clients must have a genuine desire to heal and grow for the sake of themselves and their wider community.
Your Commitments as a Client
Our work together is based on the use of a wide range of tools and methods and requires your active and wholehearted participation. While I will be your guide through the process, you acknowledge that you are responsible for delivering your own results. You understand that successful coaching requires you to be coachable, and you agree to honour to the following commitments as the coachable leader and co-creator in your transformation:
I commit to making my learning a top priority during this coaching relationship, and I give my coach full permission to coach me.
I approach my learning and growth with courage and the curiosity of a “beginner”.
I agree to be open and honest and to seek to share all relevant information with my coach.
I am responsible for my own learning and growth, just as I am responsible for my actions and inaction.
I will make specific requests if or when I feel that my needs are not being met by the coaching relationship.
I will share with my coach any concerns or discomfort I have about the coaching relationship, including specific interactions between me and my coach.
I understand that coaching is suitable for people who are emotionally healthy. I agree that I will not use coaching as a substitute for medical care, counselling, psychotherapy, or substance abuse treatment. I acknowledge that responsibility for all decisions associated with these issues lies solely and exclusively with me.
I commit to my personal growth beyond the stories and projections of the ego: I am willing to take on board respectful reflections from others (my coach and the people who are most important to me), even when they may be hard to hear, and I commit to using my discernment to identify what feels true to me and what does not.
I understand that healing requires taking radical responsibility for my part in all my current circumstances, and I commit to doing so. (This commitment does not seek to discount the very real, numerous, and intersectional social and systemic factors that may contribute to experiences of oppression and suffering, but to allow you to (re)claim your personal power and embody integrity by shifting habits and behaviours that seek to excuse, blame, shame, or otherwise deny you the opportunities for growth and liberation that come with taking radical personal responsibility and embodying conscious self-leadership.)
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Sessions to which the client is more than 20 minutes late will be forfeited.
Sessions cancelled by the client with less than 4 hours’ notice may be forfeited depending on the prior attendance and reliability of the Client. Ideally, we seek to allow for flexibility to reschedule due to illness or personal emergencies. On her part, the Coach will always aim to give as much advance notice as possible, and asks the same of you.
The Client understands that situations may arise where the Coach might need to reschedule the session. No additional charge will be made and every effort on the part of the coach will be made to reschedule at the client’s convenience.
Termination Policy
The Coach reserves the right to modify or terminate services and the Client-Coach relationship at any time for reasons such as, but not limited to, dangerous or criminal behaviour on the part of the Client, inappropriate or offensive behaviour from the Client, or irresponsible or disrespectful behaviour from the Client. The Coach will notify the Client with the reason for termination or modification and notice that it is effective immediately on the day she contacts the Client about modification or termination. In such situations, at the discretion of the Coach, a refund may or may not be issued for any remaining sessions or services that were paid for but not completed.
Payment Plan Policy
Payment plans are offered in good faith. Payments are considered past due if not paid within the same business day. If you are non-responsive & your payment is (5) calendar days past due, your access to the program or product will be tentatively revoked until payment is received. After (10) calendar days, your balance must be paid, otherwise you will be permanently removed from the program. The company reserves the right to collect missed payments for services rendered.
Refund Policy
The Client may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchasing and request a refund. The refund will be issued, minus a 5% transaction fee to cover expenses incurred. To cancel an order, send your request to thisiswholehouse@katejuniper.com.
Your purchase of any product or service indicates your commitment to participate in the process and follow through to its conclusion. However, the Coach also understands that exceptional events can happen, and therefore refunds and cancellations will be considered on an individual basis, at the discretion of the Coach. The Coach asks the Client to be committed and in integrity, and the Coach will honour the same.
Confidentiality
The coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the Client shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF Code of Ethics. However, please be aware that the Coach–Client relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent.
“Confidential Information” does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) the Coach is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena, or by court order to disclose; (f) is disclosed to the Coach and as a result of such disclosure the Coach reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the Client or others; and (g) involves illegal activity. The Client also acknowledges his or her continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner.
Release of Information
The Coach engages in training and continuing education pursuing and/or maintaining ICF (International Coach Federation) Credentials. That process requires the names and contact information of all Clients for possible verification by ICF. By signing this agreement, you agree to have only your name, contact information, and start and end dates of coaching shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole and necessary purpose of verifying the coaching relationship. No personal notes will be shared.
As a community that gathers in intimate spaces where personal information is shared, it’s essential for us to commit to agreements that keep our community safe, inclusive, and expansive. The below agreements are the essential pillars that we uphold in all of our community spaces. As a member of our community, you agree to the following:
Active Listening
The Somatic Way asks us to inhabit the present moment with curiosity, being open to What Wants to Happen. As such, you agree to listen actively to what’s being said by any member of the community without clinging to your own desired outcome or insight.
CURIOSITY, Creativity, Collaboration + Connection
OVER Competition + Comparison
In order to show up in community as our highest selves, open and supportive, you agree to choosing to be curious and center the collective interests of creativity, collaboration, and connection over the ego-based concerns of competition and comparison. You agree to be compassionate with yourself when you notice competitive or comparative thoughts or behaviours arising within yourself, and to do your best to choose differently by reorienting to curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and connection.
Privacy
We share vulnerable and intimate space together, where everyone’s stories are welcome, honoured, and respected. Just as you will expect that your privacy is respected and your vulnerable shares not retold with disrespect, so we ask that you honour the same right for everyone else in the community.
mutuality
We are a community of likehearted individuals. Just as we choose collaboration over competition, we choose mutuality over any focus on our differences. Further, we agree that “My liberation is bound up in yours” (Lilla Watson & Queensland Aboriginal Rights Group), in other words, there are no victims and no saviours in our spaces: we are a collective of equals with different lived experiences and different identities coming together to share them in a non-judgemental and mutually supportive space. We make no assumptions relating to any community members’ identity or experience; rather, we engage with open curiosity and loving kindness.
Ground
Our ground is the basis of our wellbeing. We ask that as a member of our community you honour and explore your relationship to your ground and seek to cultivate and expand it as the foundational element of being and becoming a conscious human and a Medial Woman.
